I rate Out of my Mind 5 stars. It is realistic fiction.
11 year old Melody has so much to tell you the problem is, she can't talk, walk, write or eat/drink without somebody feeding her. She can only move her thumbs. The only thing is that she is very smart and can remember everything she sees or hears. Then there's a Whiz Kids quiz. This is her big chance. Will they let her get in? How is she treated?
